I forgot to mention, one reason for publishing these images is to crowd-source the tagging – to be honest I don't think I'm the best person to do this, but I guess I can add a few notes. It should be possible for anyone else to edit images in http://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/sets/721…. If not please let me know and I can see what I can do.
Sorry, it looks like you need to be a "flickr" user to annotate, which effectively means you need a yahoo account, but I think I read recently that you can also use a google account to sign in and google accounts aren't necessary gmail. http://blog.flickr.net/en/2010/10/28/sign-up-for-…
